Seeking Course Proposals for Fall 2021 Term

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Pitt is seeking Course proposals for the Fall 2021 term.  OLLI offers a broad array of noncredit courses each term for our members who are seasoned adults age 50+. Courses are offered in areas such as:  History, Literature, Science and Technology, Religious Studies, Creative Writing, Art History, Architecture, Music and Film, Classics, Philosophy, Political Science, Social Sciences, Current Events, Visual Arts and more.

Tentative dates for Fall 2021 Term (Course Proposal Submission is open; Course Proposals Due No Later Than April 12, 2021.)

Session #1 AUGUST 30 - OCTOBER 7, 2021
Session #2 OCTOBER 18 - NOVEMBER 19, 2021

Typical OLLI Instructors are University faculty, Post-docs, Lecturers, Graduate students, and community-based teachers and experts.

A committee of OLLI Members reviews submitted course proposals and decides those to offer in the program. Modest compensation is provided for instructional hours.
