Meet The Author: Kathleen George The Inside Story on my Seven Mystery Novels: Inspirations, Decisions, Plotting, and Roadblocks
Each novel is different in some way from the others, like children from the same family. I just re-read them all and realized that when I was writing, I was in a dream, very involved, and I later had to remind myself of what I did. Did I sort of channel them? Maybe And yet they’re intricately plotted. In my talk I plan to share the history of Taken, Fallen, Afterimage, The Odds, Hideout, Simple, and A Measure of Blood.
Kathleen George is a professor of Theatre Arts at the University of Pittsburgh, where she teaches dramatic literature and playwriting. One summer, after trying to write a novel that kept not quite working, she decided to have fun and wrote a thriller, Taken, which led to a whole set of linked novels and more.
