Member Benefits

There are many benefits to becoming an OLLI at Pitt member, including:

Courses

Members can register for as many courses as they wish during any of our three terms: Fall, Spring, or Summer. OLLI at Pitt courses contain a diverse range of topics including literature, history, political science, art, exercise, and more. There are no credits, grades, or tests—just the love of learning!

One member benefit unique to OLLI at Pitt is the ability to audit two University of Pittsburgh undergraduate courses per academic term. Just like OLLI at Pitt courses, audit courses are non-credit bearing and members don't need to worry about grades or take tests. Course audits beyond two per term are $25 per course. All OLLI policies and procedures must be followed by those opting to audit.

University of Pittsburgh Access

OLLI at Pitt members can obtain a photo ID that provides access to University services including University bookstore discounts, use of campus shuttles, borrowing privileges and electronic access at University Library System locations.

Guest access to wifi is available on campus through Pitt IT.

Members can obtain discounts on local cultural event tickets such as the Pittsburgh Symphony, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Public Theater, and more through PITT ARTS.

Special Events and Travel

Every term, OLLI at Pitt offers special lectures, tours, workshops, and seminars. Most events are free to OLLI members; some may have a nominal fee.

Travel with us! Each year, we offer domestic and international travel trips where members can travel and explore with their OLLI at Pitt friends.

Special Interest Groups (SIGS) provide an opportunity to get together with your OLLI friends outside of the classroom.  These member-led groups come together based on a common interest or theme. With enough interest, any member may initiate a SIG with a focus on just about anything.

We hope you will join us and become a member
